Andrea Venezia

Andrea Venezia brings over 30 years of experience leading research, policy, and capacity building initiatives to improve student success and readiness in postsecondary education, particularly for historically marginalized student populations. Her previous roles include Professor of Public Policy and Administration and Executive Director of the Education Insights Center, both at California State University, Sacramento, and Senior Principal Research Scientist at SRI International. She has authored, coauthored, and coedited numerous reports, chapters, articles, and books, including Supporting the College Dream (2015), Minding the Gap: Why Integrating High School with College Makes Sense and How to Do It (2007), and From High School to College (2004). She holds a BA in English from Pomona College, an MA in administration and policy analysis in higher education from Stanford University, and a PhD in public policy from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
