Jo Wunderly

Jo Wunderly discovered her calling as a philanthropist during her first mushroom journey in 2015 when she received a vision to create spaces for collective healing. She has since developed 13 acres of land in the Sierra Nevada foothills into a beautiful, intimate retreat facility. Jo founded Vision Walkers Collective (VWC), a 501c3 with a mission to expand access to somatic and psychedelic-assisted trainings that support holistic, grassroots healing traditions. In 2021, VWC purchased a building in Berkeley, California, previously known as Rudramandir. Before Covid, the 14,000 sq ft building was a training venue for thousands of somatic practitioners, many of whom went on to train with underground psychedelic teachers. VWC renamed the building Root and Bloom Institute (RBI). Jo is currently funding Phase 1 of an extensive remodel of the building, which is on track to reopen its doors as a state-of-the-art training center in the summer of 2025.
