Marsha Rosenbaum, PhD. earned her doctorate in medical sociology at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research on drug issues was funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse as she completed studies of opioid addiction, crack cocaine, drug treatment and MDMA. Dr. Rosenbaum's publications include three books (including "Pursuit of Ecstasy: the MDMA Experience", and "Safety First: A Reality-Based Approach to Teens and Drugs"), and numerous scholarly articles and opinion pieces.
