Yaka Luiza Yawanawá, daughter of Cacique Tawahw and sister of Antonely, is a young guardian of the ancestral traditions and wisdom of the Yawanawá people. With a deep respect for her culture, she takes part in meetings and events that promote dialog about sustainability, spirituality and the sacred use of medicinal plants. Yaka Luiza represents the strength of Indigenous youth, uniting the learning of their roots with the search for global solutions for cultural and environmental preservation, strengthening the legacy of the Yawanawá people for future generations.
